About Tessa
Hi I’m Tessa! I’m a female desexed Bull Arab x Red Heeler and I’m 6 months old.
I’m an outside dog during the night but I love being inside with my humans during the day. I am house trained as long as I have access to outside. I love going for long walks (good on a lead), going to the beach, playing with tug rope and any toy with food in it. I love pats and lots of love and also being roughed up a little! I get along with others dogs, I’ve never been tested around cats.
When I first came to my foster family I was very underweight, scared, I didn’t chew my food I’d vacuum it up. But with their love and patience I know how to sit and wait to come inside and wait for my food (that I love and enjoy). I’m such a happy and enthusiastic puppy now. My foster family say I need to be with an active family that have patience for a puppy.
Adoption details
Fraser Coast Animal Rescue (FCAR) house all our dogs with foster carers in private homes. This allows them to experience life in family situations with other dogs, cats, children, chooks and various other domestic animals. We then have an opportunity to discover their traits and personalities, likes and dislikes, and which dog may suit your family dynamics.
We offer a 14 day trial to see if the chosen dog is a fit with your family. A $50 deposit is paid at the commencement of the trial period and goes toward adoption fee should you adopt. If the dog doesn't fit with your family, they will be returned to us and deposit refunded.
