About Drake
Drake has settled in immediately to the foster home he was placed in.
He has been sharing his home with a female dog and has had no issues. In fact, he loves to follow her around!
He is a very happy and smart boy who loves sniffing and exploring all the new things that come across his path.
During his time in his foster home, he has been allowed to be inside and outside and prefers to sleep inside next to his resident dog sibling.
His weight right now sits at around 14Kg.
Most of the time he is obedient and submissive due to his young age. He is gentle and lively and loves being patted and playing with toys.
He is very loyal and always shows you affection.
During his short stay at his foster home, he has learned to sit as when he sits he is rewarded either with a pat or a treat.
He is 80% toilet trained, has had only a few minor hiccups along the process.
He loves taking naps in the car’s backseat while we drive around and has learned his way to enter/exit the car. He behaves well when on leash.
He is very food motivated which makes it great for him to learn new tricks and being trained. He is hungry for attention as he is for treats.
His foster Mum guarantees that he will bring heaps of love to his new forever home.
At his meet and greet, he would love to meet and be tested with any resident children, cats or new furry doggy brothers/sisters.
Drake is located in Ferny Grove, QLD.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. To meet, adopt or find out more details on this animal, please fill in our adoption application at our website- http://www.safehavenanimalrescueinc.com Completing this application form does not place you under any obligation to adopt.
2. Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend bringing your current dog/cat as this may stress the feline out.
3. The animal cannot be taken on the day unless prior arranged (over 2 hr round trip), and the adoption agreement and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. Once collected, the 10 day settling period begins, if for any reason the pet needs to be returned, we will happily take them back into our care into a suitable foster home. The adoption fee minus $50 (admin fee) will be returned via bank transfer within 5 working days. If the pet is returned after this trial period there will be no refund made.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork, including the Change of Microchip Details form, is sent via email.
We endeavour to respond to your email within 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
