About Hopper
Hello, I'm Hopper! Also known as Hoppy or Hops!
I was dumped at a pound at just 6 weeks old, but I'm so lucky to have been given my second chance and now I'm looking for my forever home. And boy, I can't wait to meet you!
I'm a big bouncy puppy with an even bigger heart. My foster family says I am a very good boy, but I still have lots to learn.. don't we all. I'm getting very good at walking on my lead, I'll sit for you, I'll come to you and I wait patiently for my food. I am crate trained and will happily sit quietly in there for short periods as long as I have a comfy bed to sleep in and toys to keep me busy. I love being outside and I am working very hard on my toilet training and almost have the hang of it!
I love absolutely everyone. My foster brother is a big Staghound and we get along so well, but I need and want a lot more socialisation to learn to play with different dogs of all sizes. I would love a new sibling to hang out with but I am also okay being with just my humans. I can't wait to go to puppy school and have lots of training to become the best dog I can be! I'm a very fast learner and will do anything for a treat!!
I love a good lap to sit in, I love my toys and a yard to run around. I love to be the centre of attention and really want a family that will take me on lots of adventures with them.
I will give you all of this big heart of mine and all I ask is you give me all of yours. See you soon! Love, Hopper.
**Application Process** When on the Pet Rescue profile push the "enquire about this pet" button. Follow the prompts to "send enquiry now" and in the message section please place information about the home you can provide. Include current/past pets and their breed, children including ages that live with you or visit, and any other information relevant to training/exercise/energy requirements. The information you provide helps us match the dog you've applied for to the most suitable home. We use this information in lieu of an application form. We do not take applications for dogs over the phone. We aim to reply to all applications within 5 business days. All of our dog meet and greets occur at the adoption center in Craigieburn. The majority of our dogs are in a foster home not at the shelter so you need to apply via the website to meet them. Thank you. www.secondchanceanimalrescue.com.au ...because they all deserve one!
