About Max
Max is a gorgeous 14 year young gentleman looking for his forever home.
Don't be fooled into thinking this cheeky boy has little energy, apart from being your shadow, he loves nothing more than going for a daily drive – he will happily accompany you while you drive – no matter where and then with a spring in his step he walk the small distance he’s required.
While he may take a few moments to warm up to you when he first meets – once he does – that cheeky little smile and personality shine thru!
He loves other little dogs, and enjoys playing slow chasey with his fur sister, but is a bit fearful around bigger dogs and gets his grouch on. His ideal family would have another friendly small dog to play with and/or one whose humans are home more than not (a mum or dad who work from home or retired would be ideal). He loves to be part of the family and to accompany his humans wherever they go. We would suggest not with small children permanently but he would love to be a part of the grandkids visit!
Max bonds quickly with his humans, is extremely affectionate and loving and just wants to be part of the family. He is a well-mannered obedient boy, a super speedy learner & toilet trained.
Max does have a grade 5/6 heart murmur so while he is a happy little fellow he would like to live out his days with a human of his own. Part of having the heart murmur is he has a cough – but don’t be fooled by him he can use that to his advantage if he thinks he can get away with it!
Max will be on medication for the rest of his life so please ensure you are prepared to continue this if you are wishing to give him a furver home and part of this is a good diet.
Max of course has that glorious Pomeranian coat which needs to be maintained, – he loves to be brushed but hates hates hates his eyes being cleaned
Max is an absolute gem of a boy, a perfect little man absolutely adored by his foster mum & furry siblings.
