ABOUT ROCKY

Rocky is such a sweet and loving boy. He absolutely loves company and will be your couch buddy and your shadow. He loves short walks and strolls on the beach. He is a very chilled out, has energy in short bursts but also likes to laze around. He is house trained and can use a doggy door. Rocky is partially blind due to severe dry eye (see notes). He will need a clutter free home with no stairs or hazzards. He is currently living with another cavalier and they get along great, and he likes to follow her around. Due to his sight he is timid with strangers on first meeting and needs slow introductions. He is also living with 2 cats which he will co exist with as long as they are not in his face, but he will occasionally chase to try and play with them.

Even thou he is partially blind, he is pretty clever at mapping out his environment. He is great on his harness and lead, and loves going for short walks.

He is best suited to a quieter home and with someone who is home more often as he will need his eyes treated several times a day.

Rocky is such a sweetheart and will require a special owner who will not only spoil and love him, but also be able to support his medical needs.

MEDICAL NOTES

Grade 2 Heart Murmur- no medication currently needed, but will need regular checks.

Partially Blind. Severe Dry Eye - on vet prescription drops morning and night - $90 per month.
Eye ointment gel several times a day, approx $40 per month.

Cyst on tummy- which has been surgically removed by Greencross vets. .

Rocky also had all his teeth cleaned by the vets, and had 7 extractions.
