About Milo
Here is Milo.
Milo is a loving young boy who thrives on love and cuddles. He is happy to share a bed or sofa with his special people and is generally a happy go lucky boy.
We know that Milo will be very comfortable having the companionship of a desexed, female dog in his new home. He can be a little pushy with dogs who are smaller than him so a confident dog of medium size will be a good match for this little cutie. He loves his visits to the local dog park where he enjoys his games and a good run with the other dogs. Milo does not always understand the body language of other dogs and does sometimes need his humans to intervene and remind him of the rules of sharing.
Milo is NOT suitable to a home with cats, birds or other small animals as he does like to chase.
While he has been in his foster home, Milo has been living as a mainly 'indoor dog'. He enjoys loads of company and being close to his humans. He has always been allowed to sleep inside and this will need to continue in his new home. He is toilet trained and can hold on overnight.
Training has been quite easy. Milo is very food orientated and will do his best to please his foster mum when there are snacks involved.
Milo enjoys his daily walks to check out the neighbourhood and see what is going on in the big wide world.
He is quite social and seems to get along with everyone but does also enjoy his personal space. He will be at his happiest in a home with a doggy companion and children/grandchildren who are aged 10+ to offer him a calmer environment where he can also have time out when he needs to.
Milo is not a big fan of being left alone. He does cry a bit when he is left but will settle quite quickly if he has puzzles or games to keep him stimulated while you are out of the house.
Please contact us if you believe you have a special place in your home for this lovely boy
Medical notes
Milo has been diagnosed with a Grade 1 heart murmur. No treatment is required at this stage but annual check ups at time of vaccination is recommended.
We are happy to pass on all known information and Milo's medical notes will be passed on to new owner.
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
