"Hello! My name is Meckie. I came to the RSPCA through no fault of my own and I am now looking for a purr-fect retirement home for my twilight years. I am a very affectionate boy, I absolutely adore chin rubs and head pats! I am looking for a home where I am the only pet, as I would like to be the centre of attention, and to be spoiled by my new family. I will need to be an indoor only cat due to my beautiful white fur and pale feature. I would prefer to live in a home that is relatively quiet, with gentle, sensible people, so that I may feel safe, secure, and bond to my new family. I would not like to live with young children please! I also have a secret... I am deaf! This doesn't really affect me at all, but I would like my family to be aware of my lack of hearing, and be flexible with me while I am settling in.
