About Benny ~ Mastiff X (on trial 31/8/19)
Meet Benny! Benny is an 8 week old, male Mastiff x puppy. Benny is a very chilled little dude with the cutest little pot belly. Benny is a very calm and sweet natured dog, often preferring to sit and cuddle with his foster Mum instead of wrestling with his sisters.
Benny has a very sweet nature and will make a great addition to any family. Benny also gets on well with his foster mum’s cat.
Benny will grow up to be a medium/large dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
Benny will need a friendly adult dog of his size or bigger as a teacher, companion, and playmate as he would be too lonely on his own. It would be good if someone in the household doesn’t work full time. Benny is in the early stages of toilet training.
Benny needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. You will need good fencing with no small gaps.
As Benny is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast, and Port Stephens because he’ll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he’s approximately 5 months old.
For more information or to meet Benny, please contact his foster carer Sophie email sophie.varcoe@hotmail.com Benny is in foster care in Gateshead NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle). You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
Benny's adoption fee is $550 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and he's been treated for fleas and worms.
Medical notes
As Benny is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast, and Port Stephens because he’ll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he’s approximately 5 months old.

(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
