Hyacinth

Hyacinth is playful and extremely loveable 18 month old Kelpie Cross.

Hyacinth has come from a rural NSW pound to the big smoke and is doing a great job of settling into suburban life. She is very quickly learning new skills like walking nicely on a lead, sit and drop, and has good recall when off the lead. Whilst she was a bit unsure of loud noises and new people in the beginning, she is now showing what a confident girl she is, taking everything in her stride. She loves outings to the local cafe and will sit or lay quietly and just chill out (for a side of bacon course). While she has her active moments she loves nothing more than to fall asleep at your feet in front of the TV at the end of the day.

She also loves a good game of fetch and is currently practicing bringing it back all the way!

Ongoing training and daily walks are a must for this girl to be the best she can be. She has shown a dislike for cats and while her youthfulness may be over powering for an elderly canine, she would make a great playmate for a younger dog with similar energy levels, or an older child/teenager. She also shows potential as a therapy/assistance dog, being such a calm girl who gets along with everyone.
