About Hercules! *On Trial in His New Home*
*HERCULES IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Anyone looking for a cat friendly, apple eating, tail wagging, lovable young dog?
If you are ..... hey, over here, check me out!
The name is Herc. Short for Hercules. Apparently he was some hooman who was famous in history for his adventures. I’ve certainly had a few of those, and can’t say I enjoyed all of them. But I’m ready for my next exciting adventure .... meeting my furever family!
A bit about me (other than the apple eating and tail wagging - both of which I’m an expert at and I don’t want to sound like I’m bragging):
- I LOVE other dogs and make friends easily.
- But I don’t mind hanging around by myself as long as I have some people company.
- Cats and other critters don’t bother me (even if they look funny like my foster mum’s
guinea fowl things).
- I’m good in the car and like to look out the window then fall asleep.
- My inside manners are fabulous (I’m a very smart lad).
- I can sit (especially if food is involved ... food is good!) and I reckon I would quickly
learn anything you wanted to teach me.
- I have been crate trained but I’m just as happy curling up somewhere comfortable to
snooze; your lap, for instance (I love sleeping inside .... mmmm).
- I’m very handsome (just thought I’d throw that in!).
- I’m not big into chasing balls (unless they are really apples, then I’ll EAT them!).
- I’m over the silly puppy stage - I’m perfect really!
- My foster mum calls me a ‘dork’ ... not sure what that means? She also laughs at my
huge feet - rude woman!
- Walks are great fun!
- I welcome everyone I meet with a big smile and tail wag :)
I’m a bit embarrassed that I don’t know who my mum and dad were. Perhaps a Bull Arab and a Mastiff? Or maybe a little Great Dane? Let’s just say I am ... me.
The dog doc thinks I’m around a year old ... and I’ve had all my needles and that little operation that boy doggos have. I’m fit and healthy and ready to take on the world! All I really need now is a family to have more adventures with.
Do you need a (good looking) young bloke to help you have adventures?
Let’s chat! Herc x

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
