About Molly ~ Whippet X Kelpie (on trial 1/9/19)
Molly is a 3.5 month old Whippet x Kelpie puppy. She is very cuddly and quiet natured and will melt your heart! She is a healthy girl who loves her food. She is currently living with a female Maltese shitzu and male cat and doesn’t seem bothered by either. She also does not seem bothered by the foster carer's chooks, although she can become frightened of loud noises such as motorbikes.
Molly will grow up to weigh around 15-20kg. She is currently 5kg and is learning to jump onto the lounge but can’t jump onto the bed at the moment. She is getting used to walking on a lead and loves to run. It is always recommended that puppies complete puppy training to give them the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise and training.
Molly is great with babies and young children and will be a wonderful family dog! You will need good fencing with no small gaps as she is very slim and can slip through gaps, even baby gates!
Molly will need a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate as she would be too lonely on her own. It would also be good if someone in the household doesn't work full time.
Molly needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and sleep inside at least until fully grown. She currently sleeps in her foster parents bed but will sleep in her own bed during the day. Molly travels well in the car.
As Molly is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's approximately 5 months old.
