About Bernie
If you're looking for a fun weekend with Bernie, then look no further. I'm a cute little fellow who has just finished my career and I'm now currently in foster care. There are a couple of other dogs here, I'm not that keen on the male dog, but I might get on OK with a placid female? But in all honesty, I'd rather be the only dog so you can spoil me all day.
I enjoy a walk and go alright on the lead. I am still getting use to all the new sights and sounds, I'm not overly confident, but I'm certainly not shy. I can also stay inside for very long periods of time during the day, I just want to sleep on a comfy bed in a warm home. So I might be ok for apartment living.
I also have a couple of kids that live here, I don't care that much about them, they feed me treats, but I just mind my own business. I do enjoy it when they pat and hug me though.
I think I'd be best suited for a home with full time/part time workers, people who are retired, active people, lazy people, families, no families, actually I'd fit in any home. I am NOT cat friendly so definitely a home without cats for me.
If you'd like to come and meet me, i know you'll fall in love with me, ignore the grey whiskers and my age, there's plenty of love left in me.
