About Rajah
**Before applying to adopt, please remember that adopting a puppy is a huge commitment that is very demanding of your time. Puppies require daily exercise, socialisation, grooming, training and playtime. When applying to adopt, please consider your working hours, holidays, and how busy your personal life is. Puppies will need someone who is home for most of the day, especially in those first few months after adopting.**
We are currently taking expressions of interest for Rajah.
This gorgeous little boy came to SAFE Esperance as an owner surrender. He has flourished in foster care and is now ready to take the next step and find a home of his own.
Rajah is a typical pup who loves everybody that he meets. As he's still a youngster he will need extensive training in his new home. He is very nearly there with his house training and is happy to use a dog flap to get in and out of the house. He knows a couple of commands and is doing well with lead training. He's a very clever boy and picks new things up quickly. We will ask that his new owner enrols him in puppy school straight away for socialisation and training.
Rajah barks only to get attention and is happy to be left with the other dogs in his foster home. He loves to play, and will happily curl up with his carer on the couch afterwards for a snooze. He is crate trained and will take himself off to his crate at night to sleep. His foster home has cats and chickens and he is curious but shows no chasing behaviour towards them.
The ideal home for Rajah would have a decent sized, secure yard for him to exercise in. He would love to have another dog in the home to play with or at the very least, be taken out to meet and socialise with other dogs regularly. His new family will need to spend plenty of time with him, especially in those first few months, to ensure that he reaches his full potential. He also needs to be able to sleep inside at night.
Rajah's adoption fee includes desexing when he's old enough, vaccinations, microchip and worm/flea treatment.
If Rajah sounds like the perfect fit for your family, please fill out an adoption enquiry and we will be in touch soon.
