About Mia 😈
Who am I?......
Mia is my name, and I will be 2 years old in September (hint hint....my Birthday is coming up 😉)....and just in case you weren't sure, I'm a Ragdoll.
My Personality.....
This is a tough one....let me just start by saying, I didn't have the best start to life. I arrived in care a matted mess and had been let down by humans in a big way (I was then shaved and completely naked so my coat could grow back beautiful). For this reason, I'm still angry at the world lol....so everything happens on MY terms, not yours. If you left me to do my own thing, then we may just get along fine. I do like to play with toys and will tolerate a few pats, but once I've had enough, I'll certainly let you know. Once we form something resembling a 'bond', I may even jump up on your lap for a snuggle....but you best be comfy, because you won't want to move whilst I'm occupying your lap lol. By now you're probably thinking....this cat is psycho! and whilst there may be some truth to that, I'm pretty sure I've provided my foster family with enough laughs to make up for my attitude. I will give you a warning before the claws come out....most of the time. Here's some positives though.....I'm litter trained and currently sleeping on the lounge in my foster home. I don't destroy anything or cause any disturbance whilst my humans are sleeping.
My Foster home.....
I am the Queen in my foster home. I won't tolerate dogs or other cats near me, and that's just how it has to be. My foster family are clearly crazy for allowing me to rule their home, but I do love them in my own weird and wonderful way. They understand my needs, my split personality (yes that's how they describe me) and when I'm wanting affection, they will provide it.
I’m looking for.....
A home with no other animals or young kids (14yrs+ minimum). It wouldn't matter if you worked full time, part time or casual, because I'm more than happy spending time on my own. A calm, quiet home would be ideal as loud noises do startle me....oh the vacuum cleaner is definitely not my friend 😉.....You will obviously need to be a confident cat owner too. I know I can be scary to some (especially visitors), but I'm really hoping that in time, we can form a bond like I have with my foster family. I've now been in care for 6 months and it will take me a while to settle in, so please don't expect us to be 'friends' on our first meet.
To keep me safe (and the wildlife), I’m looking for an indoor only home, or better still, a home where I had a safe enclosed outdoor area. That way, you’ll never have to worry about where I am, or the presents I would bring home for you.
I’m currently in care in Killarney Vale on the Central Coast NSW and ready to head off to my new home now. I'm guessing this may take some time, but I'll be patient 💕

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
