About Haggis

Breed: American Bulldog mix
Age: 5 months
Sex: Male
Dog Friendly: Yes
Child Friendly: Yes
Cat Friendly: Unknown
Toilet Trained: In training
Location: Corinda, QLD
Haggis is one of a kind! He is adorable, loyal, energetic, fiercely handsome and incredibly smart!
He was returned to care because ultimately, he loves to talk! He suffers from separation anxiety so would absolutely need a dedicated family or human friend willing to spend their time and energy with him - he thinks he’s a child after all!
Haggis would also benefit from having a dog friend - he hasn’t met one he doesn’t love!
He loves people, a job to do and places to go, so if your a Tradie or the like, he’s your dog! He has a beautiful nature and whilst looking ‘tough’ wouldn’t hurt a fly ( he actually enjoys laying outside watching ants crawl which is how he gained the nickname ‘Ferdinand’ with his foster family).
If you are looking for the ultimate best friend, Haggis would love to meet you and finally receive the unconditional love he gives everyone else, returned!

Adoption details
~ ADOPTION PROCESS ~
STEP 1: An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT DO INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS ** We require all animals to have a meet & greet with their new family before they are officially adopted, no exceptions. If you are willing and able to meet the dog in person, we are happy to accomodate the adoption.
STEP 2: If successful, our foster carer will be in touch within 24-48 hours.
STEP 3: A 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
STEP 4: The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 4 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
STEP 5: A 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from the foster carer.
STEP 6: The Adoption is the finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email after this period. Please note this can take up to 4 weeks pending on the microchip paperwork.
Sorry we can’t take calls, as our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, but we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW. **
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
