Hi, my name is Scoops! I'm a real sweetheart and so eager to please. I enjoy playing ball and mucking around with my toys in the backyard however my most favourite past time is being by my human's side, getting lots of pats and rubs and being inside with my family.

I would love to live with another medium to large doggy friend who can play and keep me busy. Alternatively if you are home a lot I may be fine as an only dog but would hate to be home alone all the time.

I would be best suited to a home with kids over the age of 8 as I'm big and loving which could be a bit overwhelming for little people. I've been very gentle with foster kids who are 6 & 8 but tall for their ages, but love my foster adult the most. I am learning to walk well on a leash and will stay with you and look up at you for reassurance when we meet new dogs, big trucks come by or we are meeting new people. I will need a walk everyday as I am a young and active boy and some fun toys to play with whilst you are away from home so I don't get bored out in the backyard. I'm house trained and as long as I am let outside regularly or have a doggy door to come in and out I don't have accidents.

New experiences, dogs and people can be a bit scary (I'm a bit of a softy!) but I adjust well with reassurance and gentle and well managed introductions and I am getting much more confident with the big wide world. I'm quiet and polite and still learning. I will sit on command, wait and listen intently for your instructions and will blossom with consistent training and someone to help me understand what is expected of me. I have a beautiful nature and a heart of gold and will make an amazing companion for someone who wants me to be part of their family and can offer me some attention, time and love.
