About:
Benny had a rough start to life but he is now fighting fit and ready for his forever home! He found himself in a rural pound with a severely broken femur and endured a big surgery to have his leg screwed back together. After a long rest period he is now running, jumping, climbing and playing like a normal kitten. Benny is a very energetic little man and is still learning to play nicely with his teeth and claws so would be best in a home where he will get lots of attention and would not be suited to smaller children at this stage due to his rough and tumble nature. He is also very playful and dominant with other cats so although he would love a playmate, it would have to be a cat (or dog) who is very patient and up for some rough play. Benny also has a very affectionate personality and when he isn't playing he loves to curl up in your lap, will sleep on your face if you let him and is never far from his humans. He is great fun but also a beautiful lap cat and he will make a fantastic companion for a very lucky family. Although it is unlikely Benny will have any long term issues from his injury his future family need to keep a close eye on him as he ages to ensure he does not have any joint pain in his senior years which his carer will go through at his meet and greets. Benny will also need some minor physio for the next few weeks so would be best going to a family who is cat savvy and comfortable handling kittens. Not content with just having a broken leg, Benny also has some floating ribs which do not affect him or cause any pain but do feel a bit funny when he is picked up. He will never have a complete range of motion in his damaged leg and will have a slightly wonky walk and is a little bit prone to falling over at the moment so it is essential that, like all BFF cats, Benny is strictly indoors for his entire life for his own safety.
