Hey Everyone! I'm Jeffrey the energetic, confident, playful and brave Jack Russell, and I love riding in cars. I've lived with very young children who I was fabulous with. I love being around my family, especially up on the couch. Being a working breed dog I really want lots of jobs to do. I'd love to learn new things so I can help you around the house. A working dog like me absolute must get out twice a day for a nice long walk with you to sniff, explore and meet other dogs. It's great to meet other dogs who like playing. Some dogs don't like it when I yap and pounce too much around them. I'm good at meeting them when I'm off lead. With proper training I could even learn to meet them nicely when I'm on the lead too. I have a tendency to jump on people too - another easy fix.

I am loving and will show you how much I love you by showering you with kisses. I like to go for walks and run along the mud flats at the beach, but I also really enjoy sitting next to you on the couch while you watch tv. I'm well behaved in the home and I'm fully house trained. I use the doggy door during the day, and because I sleep inside during the night and the doggy door is locked, I hold on until the morning. If you leave a plastic bag with food scraps on the floor and go out though, there's a good chance I will investigate he he... I am a dog after all. I am really good with kids. Sometimes I like to put my paws on their bodies so I can give them a kiss on the face. Some kids don't like that though.

I like to bark. I'm the kind of guy you could teach to ""speak"" on command. What a great party trick we could have together! There is a very straightforward way to train me out of the barking habit - it just requires time and consistency. And also making sure I get the right amount of exercise, some enrichment games and other training as I hear those things tire out the brain and help you relax. And of course, I was bred to help humans so lots of human company too. I wouldn't be suited to living with a fence or windows that can be easily be seen out of as I think I would find it hard to resist barking, as part of my job is keeping an eye on my family and the house - making sure those people know to stay away.
