Hello, Red here! I am seeking a new home as my owner sadly passed away, and no homes within his family were suitable for me. I am a very lovely boy (so I've been told) and my ideal new home would be with someone/a family who loved me to pieces! I had a short stint living with a family member, and was exposed to living with other cats and quite a few children, although the sheer amount seemed to make it hard for me to adjust. I have had polite interactions with cats here in the shelter, and could potentially live with a sensible person who owned a cat friendly cat, who is willing to do a slow introduction as I can become a little dominant at times. One or two sensible children would suit me fine, as long as I am left to my own devices when I would like some 'cat' time, and the household isn't too loud and boisterous. I have preferred to spend my time indoors in the past, but was allowed safe outdoor access sometimes. I am very affectionate, and my hobbies include napping in the sun, soaking up all the affection that I can and exploring places (when I feel comfortable).
