About Clover
Clover arrived at the pound heavily pregnant. She really didn't want to give birth in this new environment, and held on for as long as she could, so when the babies did come out, they were a little overbaked! She was brought to our shelter with her new family the next day, and we held our breath hoping it wouldn't be too much for her. Had we known Clover, like we do now, we wouldn't have been so worried. This girl is just so super sweet. While we gave her space, not knowing whether she'd be defensive over her nest of bubs, she proudly hopped back and forth trying to show them off to us. As we came closer, she just wanted pats and love. She's never shown any aggression, and has coped with everything in her stride, full of pride and gratitude. This may very well have been Clover's first (and last) litter, as she showed signs of being a new mother, and was not totally sure on what she was doing. However, she always tried her best, and her babies have all grown up beautiful and strong.
Clover is likely to be picked for her lovely personality. She'd suit a range of homes, but it should be noted that she's not currently litter trained, and this may be something she's struggled with since giving birth.
