Sam

Happy Sam is an energetic and friendly boy. He is very social and living in foster carer with another dog. He loves to play. He also has enough dog awareness to read if others aren't interested - in that case he is happy to entertain himself doing laps of the house or playing with his soft toys. He is very gentle and doesn't rip them up. His favourite toy is his precious pet rat!!

Sam can be a little shy at first, but when he feels comfortable with his surrounds he will open up to show his beautiful personality. He is an intelligent boy and knows his basic obedience including sit, drop, coming to his name and when to get off the bed!

Being an energetic boy, he would suit a family with kids to tire him out and lavish him with attention, or another dog to keep him company. He will need daily exercise and playtime to keep his mind and body healthy and a family to continue his training as he has so much potential to learn.

""I'd like to do training every day so that I learn the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it. And once I've learnt them, I need to keep practicing them every day too. That way I'll learn to obey what you tell me to do. Being consistent and clear with your boundaries will mean I always know the right way to behave. Getting out to exercise twice a day is vital to stimulate my brain and body. It creates important opportunities for me to meet strangers, other dogs and other animals, plus it tires me out! Tell me ""no"" if I'm chewing something I shouldn't and give me a chew toy instead. I'd love to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so I don't get bored with them.""
