Hi, my name is Mardi and I am looking for someone to love and love me back. I am a very gentle, loving dog. I have made good friends with my carers dog and we like to do one or two fast laps of the yard but I am also very happy to just curl up on my bed or follow my carer around the house. 

I like to go on walks, but when I get home it's time for a rest and I do this well. My carer has to keep an eye on her bed and couch, as I often try to sneak onto them but will remove myself when asked to do so. 

I have met a few other dogs and most are fine but I am a little wary with boisterous dogs. I don't really like cats. My carer has two grandsons aged 2 and 6 who I quite like and am happy receiving pats from them and anyone else that would like to give me one or ten. I hadn't had much training but now I can walk on the lead without pulling, will wait at the door or gate until I am allowed to go through and am house trained. I would love to keep learning new things, so please be committed to teaching me and welcoming me into your home.
