Teddy

Our soft, sweet and adorable foster boy is a "Teddy" in name and nature! He has an adorable stump tail and a small button nose that will require sunscreen if he's out in full sun for long periods. He has a super relaxed personality, is polite and friendly. He is currently in foster care with another dog and plays gently - he is more submissive of the two, and is happy to follow or just hang out.

He loves cuddles, as most Teddy bears do, and likes to place his head in the crook of your neck to get in close. Pure cuteness!!! He is picking up house training at a good pace, learning how to use the dog door, puppy pads and urinating outside like the big boys!

During the day he is happy to play with a kong or chew an antler if left alone. He does not get stressed out being left along with his foster brother. He is not jealous of his toys and happy to share. He enjoys playing chasey, and to be the one being chased! After a big play he will take himself off to a corner of the house and fall asleep...

Teddy's foster home has a cat and he is very well behaved around it. He has not yet been exposed to young children but with his gentle personality he would be an excellent brother to any children. Teddy would be ok in a home with full time workers as he doesn't get anxious when his family need to go out. Being a puppy, his new family will need to continue his training as he has so much potential to learn. Daily exercise, games and good times with his family are a must as he is a social little boy who loves people and being part of a family.

It's always hard to know with rescue pups and mixed breed pups exactly how big they'll grow to, so SAFE estimates the eventual size.
  
I CAN FLY TO PERTH!
Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations, because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to you in Perth for around $150 airfare.
