About Willow
Sweet, gentle, loving Willow was found by a Good Samaritan, laying at the side of the road, unable to get up. As the lady picked her up to pop in her car for the ride to the vets, this beautiful girl was wagging her tail!!
On x-ray at the vets, both her back legs were found to be broken, but new bone growth could be seen, so she was given pain relief and popped in a warm crate. She stayed at the vet hospital for a week before coming into care with us.
What an adorable pup Willow is! As she has rehabilitated more and more of her personality has shown itself, and she is now enjoying playing with the other pups in care with her, and LOVES her squeaky toys! She easily worked out the doggie door and comes in and out as she wishes. She is completely toilet trained, at night she wees on a puppy pad, by day she goes outside for the toilet.
She travels well in the car, and is happy to have little walks around the garden on leash. She is now weight bearing on both back legs, and after hopping with both back legs together when I first had her home from the vet, she now walks normally.
Willow has always been a girl to love her cuddles.......she is very very special.
Please tell us what your home life looks like. Do you have other pets? Any children? How long would Willow be alone during the day, if at all?
We are located in Moree, northern NSW. We do have fortnightly pet road transport that could easily be arranged at new owners cost, or please think hard about driving up to collect her.......she is sooooooo worth it.
Medical notes
Vet checked and they maintain that Willow will have no long term problems with her legs. Weighs 6.5kgs
