About Macy
Meet our adorable rescue girl, Macy.
Macy is almost 2 years old and a Bull Arab cross. She is a happy, healthy, sweet natured girl, who gets along well with other doggies and is non-reactive to our cats. Macy loves to play with her canine buddies.
Macy walks well on lead, although does have some crazy rodeo style bucking when she is first released from her enclosure. Even when she is in full swing doing this, she doesn't pull on her lead and seems aware of just how far she can go! It is sheer joy watching her express her unbridled happiness in being free.
Macy arrived into our care via an interim home. A kind hearted young man named Lachlan found Macy wandering around Wooton. She had recently had pups [9 in total] was still lactating, and was in poor condition. Lachlan located Macy's owner, only to find out that they no longer wanted her.
Macy initially required intensive treatment to recover from mastitis - hot packs and massage 4 times a day, and antibiotics. She also needed a special diet to overcome her state of malnutrition. Macy is now a bundle of energy and looks amazing!!
Macy would suit pretty much any home situation, but we would love to see her in a home where she gets lots of attention and LOVE! She is such a sweet girl and is so deserving of all things wonderful. If you are the one for sweet Macy please send us an email.
