Elle (Eleven)

Elle is a very sweet playful little pup with endless energy! She adores spending time with her humans and her doggie friends. She's a cuddly girl when it's nap time but does love to explore her surroundings and always up for a game of Tug-o-war with her brother Dusty. Elle follows the lead of her host dogs and has picked up the routine in her foster home. She is currently an inside/outside dog and would love the company of another dog in her forever home.

Elle is currently living with older kids in her foster home and absolutely adores them. Given that she is quite energetic and boisterous, she would be best suited to a home with older children who enjoyed spending time in the backyard. This adorable little girl is always happy. She loves playing with her toys and is easily trained. She's currently learning some basic commands like 'sit' and 'stay' and will come when called.

Toilet training is coming along beautifully! Elle is using puppy pads if unable to get outside, but most of the time she will wait until she's on the grass. Sleeping arrangements at night is fairly casual....she's quite happy to sleep in her crate with Dusty, but won't turn down a night spent with one of the kids in bed.

As with all our pups, we strongly recommend enrolling in Puppy school. Elle will need continued socialisation with other dogs during the puppy stage and into adulthood, as well as ongoing training so that she grows up to be a well mannered and socialised girl. We believe that she will be a medium to large dog when fully grown. She is a beautiful natured puppy, and given the right environment we’re sure she will grow to be an extremely loyal, well mannered adult.

We would love to help get you started with training, so our amazing supporters, Best Friends - Erina, have kindly offered to include a 5 week Puppy training course with all of our Puppy adoptions (up to 16wks of age)....The Best Friends Puppy Pre-School service is a fun and interactive five-week training course that covers puppy behaviours, diet, health, grooming, exercise and play, with an emphasis on socialisation, command training, health and care. Their aim is to teach you positive ways to train your puppy in basic skills such as ‘sit’, ‘drop’, ‘stay’, and how to walk well on a lead, but also how to control your puppy’s not so desirable behaviours like toileting inside, biting, mouthing and separation anxiety.

Elle would be best suited to a home where she had the company of her humans or another doggie companion. She will need a medium to large yard with secure height appropriate fencing and a family who will commit to her training.
