About Rebel ~ 4 year old Boxer X (On Trial 2/2/20)
Say hello to lovely Miss Rebel! She is a 4 year old Boxer X who has an incredibly beautiful, gentle and affectionate nature. Loves walks, and hanging out with her foster mum around the house. Belly rubs make her a very happy girl.
Rebel is great with other dogs of all sizes, and would love another friend to hang out with. She is also good with cats.
She doesn't cope well with being left alone a lot, and needs a very secure yard that she cannot dig or jump her way out of. She will certainly make her feelings known by barking her distaste at being left alone, to the world.
Rebel is well trained - she is a clever girl who likes to please her human, or humans. She is especially talented at seeking out food wherever it is, and finding a way to get to it.
Her beautiful nature comes with a touch of timidness, and despite being house trained she does have trouble controlling her bladder when she gets anxious. But positive reinforcement and love will get her wonderful obedient nature out - there's never any need to raise your voice to her to get her to listen, and this will avoid her getting anxious. Her bladder control can also be an issue when being greeted after being separated from her human for a few hours, but this is also easily addressed by always greeting her outside on the grass.
With Rebel, you are gaining a loyal and loving friend who will adore being by your side. She would suit a family, single or couple who are home a lot, have the time for plenty of walks, have a very secure yard, and want a dog who is allowed to sleep inside and be a member of the family.
For more information or to meet Rebel, please contact her foster carer Anna at anna.gould13@gmail.com . Rebel is in foster care in Glendale, NSW and is available for adoption interstate. You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
Rebel's adoption fee is $300 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
