Female Domestic Short Hair Mix Cat

Notice something a little different about Lilly?
Lilly was recently surrendered to the RSPCA as she had been in an accident which resulted in a broken spine. She was unable to move her back end or feel her tail, and was confined to a small area for 2 months post accident. The vet advised the only way to fix Lilly was to amputate her tail, which would cost over $1200. Lilly's owners were unable to afford this as they had other ongoing vet bills for their other cat, so they decided to bring her to the RSPCA.
Lilly's surgery went well, and within the week she was up and walking and back to her loving self. She is now ready for adoption and has requested that her new family keep her inside away from cars and other potential hazards.
Due to her confinement after the accident, Lilly has put on a bit of weight, which isn't very healthy for her. She is currently on Hills Light food and being fed with a treat ball to encourage activity.
