About Zak ~ 5yo Lab x
Zak 5 year-old Lab x, is a mature, calm and intelligent dog who absolutely adores his humans. He but has recently found himself in a bit of a limbo. After the fairly turbulent time that Zak has had lately, he would love a permanent family to live with. Being very intelligent and easily trainable (if given time and patience), Zak would fit in seamlessly to most family environments.
The type of family that would best suit Zak would be one with children of 9 years or older that can keep him occupied and active. However, he needs good fencing and tends to dig or bark if left on his own for long periods of time. Zak has lived with smaller and older dogs, but is not at all suited to cats. He adapts to most other dogs if introduced correctly so that he doesn’t feel threatened by them He would suit an urban, rather than a rural environment.
Zak is medium sized. He has smooth coat that can easily be cared for with just a bath and the occasional brushing. He is very low maintenance. He would be happy as an only dog given plenty of love, attention and exercise, but wouldn’t mind sharing the love with other animals in the home.
Recently surrendered to Dog Rescue Mudgee, Zak is looking for his forever home.
If you feel you can provide this super worthy dog with a loving, permanent home, please contact Nora on or 0418 402 150 or email: dogrescuemudgee@gmail.com. Zak is currently in care in Mudgee, NSW.
Zak is de-sexed, vaccinated, free of fleas and worms and microchipped. His adoption fee is $200.

(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
