Hello! My name is Sonny! I was born on a farm with my 2 brothers Sampson and Sven, and have had limited contact with people, except for the family that found me. Given that I have never been anywhere else, I am finding the shelter environment a tad overwhelming, although am finding my feet and becoming more comfortable. You can usually find me watching the world go by from the top of my scratching post. Initially, I can be wary when meeting new people, especially if there is a crowd or a lot of people around, but am extremely affectionate! I am learning all about living inside, and the perks that come with it! Given that this will be my first proper home, it may take me some time to get used to noises that seem so normal, that I might not have ever heard before (TV, vacuum, washing machine). I like to think of my new home as somewhat quiet, relaxed and calm, with adults or teenagers who have preferably had cats before. I am used to the presence of other cats, but will need a slow introduction if I were to live with cats to ensure that we do not begin to compete with each other for attention, space or territory.
