Sven

Hello! My name is Sven! I was born on a farm with my 2 brothers Sampson and Sonny, and have had limited contact with people, except for the family that found me. Given that I have never been anywhere else, I am finding the shelter environment a tad overwhelming, although am finding my feet and becoming more comfortable. You can usually find me asleep in my scratcher or observing the cattery from my shelf. I can be tentative when first meeting new people, but can be convinced to come out for chin scratches and pats within a few minutes. Once I become comfortable, I am likely to become playful and active, so prepare for the possibility of this! Given that this will be my first proper home, it may take me some time to get used to noises that seem so normal, that I might not have ever heard before (TV, vacuum, washing machine). I like to think of my new home as somewhat quiet, relaxed and calm, with adults or teenagers who have preferably had cats before. I am used to the presence of other cats, but will need a slow introduction if I were to live with cats to ensure that we do not begin to compete with each other for attention, space or territory.
