I've been adopted!
About Marla & Maluma
When we first arrived at Lort Smith, we were very shy and unsure. We didn’t know what was happening or where we were. We had very limited socialisation with people so it was decided that individually we would be placed into foster care for confidence building.
Our wonderful foster carers taught us that being loved and petted was actually a nice thing – especially chin scratches and belly rubs! Ping pong balls blew our mind and offered fun like we never knew existed.
We were going to be adopted out separately but since reuniting in the Adoption Hub, it is clear that absence makes the heart grow fonder. We are absolutely a package deal and we can’t wait to begin our new lives together.
We must insist that we go to a quiet home, with no small children or dogs. Our new humans must be patient and understand we may take a little time to adjust. But once we do… we’ll all be the very best of friends!
Please contact the Adoption Hub to arrange a time to meet us, we can’t wait!
