About Chase
Chase is a bouncy, hilarious young two-year-old who absolutely loves human affection. He is full of energy and excitement when he spots his humans. Chase can entertain himself for hours by running all over the yard, playing with toys and chasing his tail. Chase can Sit, Drop and Shake when instructed. In foster care, he is learning a lot, especially working on reactivity towards other dogs while on the lead.
Chase is fine being left when you leave for work, he doesn’t bark, whine or try to escape. Being young, he loves to have a good chew, so it is a great idea to have toys out for him to chew on!
Unfortunately for Chase, it seems he hasn't experienced much of the outside world so he is a bit unsure of dogs, other animals, people and trucks initially, and therefore slow introductions are required for him to have positive interactions.
His new furr parent needs to have experience with reactive dogs on lead and someone who will be a strong assertive role model for him in training. He can be quite reactive on lead at times when he see other dogs and is muzzle trained to assist with his lead work.
Chase is currently unable to visit dog parks, as he feels stressed in these environments. To ensure Chase continues to improve ongoing training and exposure is ideal!
Chase gives the best cuddles ever and loves playing with his humans. If you are looking for a dog who thinks you are the literally the best thing that ever happened, look no further than this little cutie, Chase! He’ll give you a life full of love, laughter and entertainment.
Medical notes
Chase is a happy, healthy dog: desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and flea- and worm treated.
