About Ingrid
Ingrid is a gorgeous loving little poodle.
She is 8 yrs old, but has the energy of a puppy.
This sweet girl was surrendered from a elderly gentleman who was going into a home.
She lived in a boat with him, and the final stages, he couldn’t keep up with her vet work.
Ingrid has dry eye in both eyes, and needs daily drops.
Her skin is slightly sensitive, so needs a great quality diet.
Her coat needs to be groomed regularly and needs to be washed in malesab wash or oatmeal shampoo fortnightly.
Ingrid loves to sleep on your bed, but does sleep on the end and very respectful of your space.
If you love sitting around during the day, she will be right there, on your lap.
Ingrid can be very clingy and needy, but could be that she is fostered with a few other dogs.
Loves her walks at the dog parks, but can get a little bossy if she is off lead.
We have found that she absolutely loves children, and loves playing with stuffed toys and balls.
She is toilet trained.
Has no separation anxiety, but we don’t want her to go to a home, where she spends long hours on her own.
Another dog would be fine, but she would love to just be a only child, so her people dote on her 24/7.
She has had dental surgery, recently (scale and polish).
Travels well in the car.
All round sweet sweet girl.
She weighs 5.4kg
Mini poodle
We recommend semi to retired home.
Regular visits from grandkids.
And to be able to afford her eye medication.
When she came in, she had massive ulcers on her eyes due to not receiving adequate care.
And they were red raw on the outside.
Medical notes
Does have dry eye in both eyes, which requires daily drops.
Requires regular medicated or oatmeal washes (fortnightly).
Adoption details
We shortlist families who will fit the dogs needs and contact them to arrange an introduction. If everything works well, after a timeout to be sure, an adoption agreement is completed. As the adoption donation is transferred the dog will pass into your hands.
Our Adoption Donation Fees vary. Elderly animals or animals with health problems can differ from those for young or purebred dogs.
All our dogs are vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and treated for fleas. They are bathed and groomed, and have had a consultation with our vet who discusses appropriate treatment which we arrange while the dog is in our care. All dogs are desexed at our expense.
We understand that in the first week, issues occasionally occur where training or behaviour modification is impractical and if no other recourse is available and the dog needs to be rehomed, we will agree to refund part of the adoption fee less $100 administration fee. Due to our system processes this will not be instantaneous but will go into your bank account within the next 10 working days.
After the sixth day, we require first refusal if the dog is to be found a different home, but you will not be eligible for a refund.
