About Brodie Brown Dog
Brodie is such a lovely dog and is the perfect best mate. He is a pretty chilled out guy who is great with, kids, dogs and even horses. He loves the farm and the burbs, where he is currently being fostered. He just loves to be around his family!
Brodie has basic obedience, he is toilet trained and will sit patiently and wait for his dinner.
Brodie is calm, intelligent, keen to please and affectionate. He is a best mate kind of dog. The kind that understands what is happening around him and wants to love his humans and keep an eye on his home. He isn't noisey or rude-ever. He is a perfect gentleman.
Brodie’s favourite pastime is to chew on a ball or to play with water spurting from a hose. He is a real character that will provide his owner with lots of laughs and loyalty!
Originally he was from a country town, where he did what he pleased, until the dog catcher found him, his people didn't want him- so off i went to pick him up. As much as my family liked him, we knew he could be happy with another family, so he was rehomed to a family with two kids, he spent 7 years there. The couple broke up and Brodie once again found himself at the pound, this time in Geelong, so off i went to pick him up.
This guy is a people dog. One of those dogs who will nick off to go play with the kids at the school, when his people are out. He recently did that on three separate occasions, despite all efforts to stop him, each time with a call from the school to me saying he was perfectly happy playing fetch/chasey with the kids in the yard, but I best come pick him up. He once went looking for friends when left home, and was found by an optometrist, she liked him and he spent a few hours with her at work, a few days later he got lonely and remembered her, he found her and spent some more time with her- so off I went to pick him up. When I went to collect him he gave me a cheeky sideways grin and jumped into my car. This guy! Brodie is super smart and really well socialized (all self taught!), he is funny, cheeky and a bit naughty. He is a special dog, a rare almost people kind of dog. He will be a great best friend, but he will also take himself on adventures if he gets the chance. So he needs someone he can be with a lot, a couch he can wait for you on or super high fences! His personality more than makes up for his wanderer ways.
This morning he offered me his favourite toy, he didn't want it back, he just wanted me to have his most special chewed tennis ball. I think he was genuinely offended when i didn't want it! He sighed and gave me a distinctly disappointed look and took it back to his bed.
Brodie is the best brown good boy. He just needs a human who will appreciate his larikan sense of humour and love him for the cheeky brat he is!
Medical notes
Brodie is desexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations and parasite control.
He is in perfect health. No slowing down for this guy yet!
