About Oakley
Oakley is ready for adoption ❤️
We’ve got to be honest, we think he’s just an awesome boy and we know he’ll find his furever home in no time!
Oakley belovedly called Ockie by his carers came into our rescue from a country pound.
Ockie is full of love to give, excitement and humour all wrapped up in a gorgeous, fluffy, husky body. He loves to play with his husky foster siblings, teddies and toys. He’ll even indulge in a game of fetch now and then, and likes to bury his treasures.
Ockie is so full of personality and character and is one of the most affectionate dogs you’ll ever meet. He’s a teenager, so is still working out the world, and has no concept of personal space just yet. But all he wants is love and a cuddle or two or more. He still thinks he’s a lap dog, and just adores people and is excellent with children. He’ll do just about anything to snuggle in for cuddles and love.
Ockie is energetic and so much fun, he will be your best walking or running buddy and all the hard works done for you because he’s house and crate trained. But he does like to chew on those things you like, so best to put them up he’s still going through his terrible teenage years.
We know Ockie will do best with a doggy friend, so we’re looking for a home with another dog or two for him. He such a social boy he will need a buddy suitable sized and as much fun as he is.
Oakley is fully health checked, vaccinated, desexed, worm and flea treated.
Not suited to cats or pocket pets, and secure 6ft dig-proof fences required.
