4yo Taffy came into CARMAR care through no fault of his own.
He is settling in very well with other dogs, cats and small kids while in home based foster care.

Taffy loves his food so this is a good way to give him some much needed positive reinforcement training as Taffy loves attention and will jump up, lick your hands or face to get you to give him the attention he craves.
He does however come when called and will sit for a treat!

Taffy is housetrained but has always had 24/7 access to a doggie door.
He is also getting used to being at the dog groomers, as he will need a regular trim to keep his lovely coat in tip top condition.

He has no issues with car travel and
has shown no signs of seperation anxiety or food aggression.

As stated he loves food and needs to loose a bit of weight so his CARMAR foster carer has already started on an exersize regime and takes him to the local off leash oval where he enjoys running around with all the other dogs and humans alike.
He would also benefit from some dog obedience classes too.

Other than those small issues, he is a sweet natured family pet.

Taffy would definately suit a retired couple or family with kids that are old enough to stand their ground and be consistent in his training to stop his jumping up.

All CARMAR cats & canines are fostered in private homes,in the Echuca Moama area, 3 hours north of Melbourne, so are used to the comings and goings ,noises ,smells and environments of a normal household. They are all temperament tested, recieve basic training, are desexed, michrochipped,vaccinated,wormed, flea free.
