One of three abandoned sibling puppies found on the side of a road, Taffy came to her foster home skinny and in need of lots of love, reassurance and cuddles.

Taffy is 5 months old and is an affectionate puppy who loves nothing better than sleeping next to her human family.

Taffy is toilet trained, can use the dog door, can sit and has lovely puppy manners. Taffy sleeps inside at night with no issue.

Taffy walks well with a gentle lead collar. She can become anxious in new surroundings when on the lead so requires lots of encouragement.

Taffy can be very cautious when meeting people for the first time, and has a tendency to hide when she is unsure of people. Taffy also dislikes loud noises, and seeks refuge when her environment becomes too overwhelming.

As Taffy has just completed her vaccinations, she has yet to be socialised with other dogs, however she gets on very well with her foster sister (kelpie X) and her siblings.

Taffy is cat friendly and not too fussed about chickens. She has interacted with children well, however she shies away from noisy little people.

Taffy requires a new home where her puppy training will be continued and where she has the opportunity to socialise with other puppies and dogs. Taffy would prefer a household that is calm and therefore would best suit a couple or family with older children.

Taffy would be happy to share her new home with another calm dog, or on her own.

Patience, reassurance and understanding from her new family will ensure that Taffy will have a successful transition from living with her sisters to living on her own in a new household.
