My name is "harley" - i came to the shelter over 7 months ago after i was rescued from a "puppy mill". I have been living with a lovely foster family ever since - and they've been providing me with all the tlc i deserve! i'm now ready to go to my forever home - i am a mature older dog who is looking for a quiet home to spend my retirement years and a patient human companion with a big heart and lots of time to give. I'm not that energetic and i'm not that interested in learning new tricks anymore - but if you're looking for a buddy to watch movies or take long naps with and who's happy to come along for a gentle stroll then i'm your dog! i may be a little on in years but i still have lots of love and companionship left to offer! i am suited to a home with no children or older children (over the age of 16 years) only. I would also need to be the only k9 companion in your life (no other dogs in household).
