About Clay
Hello there!
Clay is my name, although I'm sure 'Silky Black Prince' suits me much better!
I've been living with my trainer since I finished my career. And recently I was dropped into foster care, they have these funny little white dogs here called Bull Terriers, I live indoors, but I do run around with them. I play with the 7 month old Bull Terrier puppy and he jumps all over me, it's the best fun. In saying this, I am not accustomed to cats so will not be able to live with them.
I sleep inside and have been left inside for periods of time and I've been very good. At first I had a few issues with the beds, not exactly used to lying on them and preferred the floor, but it didn't take long to know which was the more comfy one.
Also there are little people that l love here too, I'm very gentle with them and they love me. I enjoy laying on their beds when they get read a story before bedtime and I just might listen too!
I love going for drives in the car, I lay down and relax very quickly. I also enjoy going for walks and I want and expect everyone to pat me. I love meeting new dogs, although I act a bit weird (freeze and stare) when I see them, I just want to meet them. My tail will wag til it nearly drops off, I get very excited.
I am not a big boy compared to some others out there, but I've got the blackest coat that will dazzle you, not to mention a heart of gold. But there's room for me to love you.
I would suit a home with a friend, or would probably be OK alone. I would be okay in a home with full time workers as I am left at home during the day. Part time workers or retirees would be ideal as I do love homans company alot!!! I do jump up at times, like when you come home from work or after you've gone out, which I'm learning isn't a great trick.
If you'd like to meet me, I'm sure you'll fall in love with me, just look at my adorable photos.
