About Clarence ^^Dandy Cat Rescue^^

Don't be blinded by Clarence's good looks, this is one kitty that needs a very special person to take him on. Clarence was part of a trio of kittens who were rescued from a life on the streets, where they had been living rough and hiding from people.
Of the three kittens taken in, Clarence was the most resistant to human touch. It has taken a lot of patience and work to get Clarence to the stage where he is no longer hissing and swiping at people - but he's still not quite a docile lap kitty. Yet.
When Clarence came into our care, this little man had lost all trust in humans and was terrified of everything. After some intense rehabilitation, Clarence is now a smoochy and loving kitten; he really has come very far in the time he has been in foster care.
HOWEVER....
Clarence will still need more ongoing love and care to make sure he is truly comfortable in himself and his surroundings. He needs an experienced 'cat person' to help him settle in to the next permanent stage of his life. Fast movements and loud sounds still scare Clarence, but gentle talking and pats soothe him down. He loves to snuggle up on the couch and be the centre of attention.
Clarence will need another fur sibling for companionship as he loves the fur foster siblings he is currently with. He plays with the cats and follows the dog around. He is very interested in what everyone is up to, but will stay back until he knows it's safe to come out and play.
The perfect home for Clarence will have:
* Experienced cat person/people
* No children
* Another cat or gentle dog to keep him calm and content
* Understanding and quiet environment to allow him to grow in confidence
* A patient attitude; he will take time to settle in

Adoption details
HOW TO ADOPT FROM US:
1. Email dandycatrescue@yahoo.com and request an adoption form to be sent to you, fill it out and return it to us. We’ll be in touch!
2. Call us on 0413 938 250 for more information about your kitty of choice.
3. If your application is successful, we’ll make arrangements for you to visit our cats and kittens at our foster carer’s home
4. If your adoption is successful we ask that you pay the nominated fee to us in cash or via online bank deposit either at the adoption day or at the home visit. We do not accept eftpos, credit or debit card transactions at this stage.
5. You will be provided with a folder of paperwork for your new kitty which will include a Central Animal Records Change of Ownership form that must be completed and paid by you ($15 fee applies) no later than four weeks after the adoption.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
