About Bud (AKA Boofa)
Older children only, Bud doesn’t like screaming children.
Single dog home.
No cats.
Hi my name is Bud but I’m also known as Boofa. Sadly my owner passed away, yes just like Busters owner 😢
I’m a lovely boy, I’m very gentle and love to cuddle and sit by your side touching you, I’m really affectionate, I know how to sit and drop, I rarely bark, I’m very placid and am happy to just sit around and keep you company, I’m house trained, I love going for walks and riding in the car, I pull on the lead if you let me but will stop if you tell me to, I just want to please my owner.
I don’t like small dogs in my face. I will cower if I hear loud noises or shouting which was due to where I used to live before my lovely owner rescued me 7 years ago. I would like to go to another retired gentleman or lady or a laid back quiet family would be nice as long as someone is around a lot. I’ve been a bit upset since I lost my owner and decided to take myself for a couple of walks so now I’m left inside when my carers go out. I'm very fit and even though the owners think I'm about 10 years old I act younger. My teeth are really in good shape, the vet said I'm a really healthy fit boy which pleased me, I'm a small boy as well.
I had my behavioural assessment and I didn't behave very well when the fake dog was bought out, I rushed at it in a manner that wouldn't be accepted with a real dog, so I will need to go to a single dog home with no cats.
So if you think you can offer me a good forever home where you’ll be able to give me all the above in return I will give you all the love and loyalty you could ask for!
