ABOUT BENNY

Benny is a sweet and calm older gentleman. At 12 years old, Benny isn't exactly a spring chicken, but he is in fantastic shape and has no known health issues. He seems much younger than his years. He is fine on walks and manages up and down our stairs with no problems.

Benny greets everyone with a gentle wag of his tail but is super relaxed and does not jump or get over excited. Benny enjoys human company and likes to sit next to you on the couch or sleep on your bed (if he is allowed). He loves pats and belly rubs, pigs' ears and all his food.

Benny tolerates baths (just!) but loves being dried and having is lovely coat brushed afterwards. His coat is thick and will need regular grooming and periodic trims to keep him looking handsome and so you can see his lovely face and he can see where he is going.

Benny likes regular walks and loves exploring new places. He is fantastic on a lead and travels like a dream in the car (he will just curl up on the seat or the passenger's lap and rest or even go to sleep). He is excited to jump out at his destination though - he loves an adventure.

Benny would make a lovely companion for someone wanting company without too much fuss or energy. He is a sweet-hearted little guy with lots of love to give. He loves our teens and seems to be happy in a family home (he has not been tested with small children) but I think he would suit most households.
