ABOUT VEE

Vee is a special little lady who needs a place to call home.
She is a unique mix of breeds being Border Collie crossed with something with a long spine & short legs, possibly Corgi or Dachshund going by the vets best guess however it's pure speculation without a DNA test. She's a short lass with a stocky body weighing in around 18kg (give or take).

Vee is a sweet and cheerful girl who loves her people. She just wants to chill out and let the world pass her by with her human not too far away. Cats don't bother her at all, she barely even acknowledges their existence. She's dog friendly but if they get too energetic or playful she will let them know it's time to calm down.
Sweet Vee will be your companion and follow you about but not get under your feet. If allowed she will also sleep in your room, just so she's nearby.

MEDICAL NOTES

Vee's breed mix has caused her body to age quicker than usual. Her hips/legs show possible early arthritis and one leg appears to have a permanent limp to it (likely due to breeding rather than arthritis). She is on monthly Cartrohen injections which seem to help her immensely. When her limp increases due to pain, a course or two of pain medication usually brings her back to normal. She still enjoys short walks and does like playing with other gentle dogs.
Vee's most recent x-rays & blood tests (July 2019) had good results apart from the possibility of early arthritis onset.
