My name is Ranger

I am a typical Red Heeler who give the BESTEST hugs and cuddles... I am such a Smoocher
When you first meet me sometimes I can be a little bit wary of you but once I know you I luv you to pieces.
I am good to walk on the lead and enjoy this time together but I can get excited to see other dogs and will pull a little until you correct me.
I really love to play with my toys ( especially rope ones ) and I will keep myself entertained for hours playing in the backyard with anything that I thing resembles a toy.
I am fine to leave on my own while you are at work as long as Ive got stuff to do.
So my current carer is a female and I love her soooo very much. Her hubby is ok too and I like to get belly rubs from him ( this is my favourite)
There are cats her that dont bother me at all so if you have a cat I should be ok.
I am protective of my home and my property so if you are looking for someone to make sure those nasties dont come in I am your man....
I think the home that would suit me best is for a single person who needs a new Bestie or a couple that want a fur child
As I haven't been tested with children my carer thinks that as Im a heeler true to breed that a home with no kids is probably better
Although Im currently living with another dog ( She is my favourite) I am best suited to a home alone without another
