About Blue
Blue is an intelligent and gentle little man looking for his forever home, a human to call his own.
He has been cared for by a wonderful rescuer in a very remote part of the NT because his family had too many dogs.
Blue is a small dog who seems to look a bit like a foxie cross cattle dog but who knows. We estimate he is about 18 mths old.
He is a little shy and reserved of new people but soon wants to come from affection and find a spot next to you on the sofa. So perhaps not suited to a home with young children who will understandably want to rush up to him for a cuddle.
Blue is fine with some dogs but scared of others. E.g. he is very comfortable with his foster pals but intimidated by his foster carers own big dog.
He will need to be gently and patiently introduced to all the new sights and sounds of suburbia and the city and would benefit from training classes. It may take time for him to feel comfortable in dog parks or busy cafes but with time he may well enjoy all kinds of activities.
He may have had some contact with cats as a young pup.
We feel Blue would prefer to be the only dog and as he has never been alone before he probably won't cope with being alone for full time working hours.
Blue flew from Alice Springs is in foster care in Coburg Nth
He is desexed, C5 vaccinated and parasite treated.

Who makes up your family including ages of children?
If you do not own your home do you have written permission for a dog?
Have you had a dog before and when? E.g. dealing with toilet training, mouthing, chewing and any behavioural issues.
How long would the dog be alone for each day and during these times how would you prevent the pup from becoming lonely and bored?
Where will the dog sleep at night?
Please only inquire when you are ready to take a dog home at the time of the "meet and greet" e.g. have puppy-proofed your home, purchased everything you need and all decision-makers are present
