About Ziggy
Meet Ziggy.
Once he has had time to settle and know he is safe, Ziggy is a happy, super friendly boy who just wants to play with everyone.
This little cutie is a little hesitant when meeting new people so he needs to be allowed to approach when he feels ready. He will stand away and then creep up to have a sniff. After that he's happy.
Our handsome little man is currently enjoying a comfortable indoor lifestyle and he would be extremely happy for this to continue in his new home. He is almost toilet trained and with some reminders, he will have it mastered in no time. He would love to have the comfort and security of sleeping indoors and sharing lots of cuddles on the couch with his special new people.
Ziggy is not a barker although his carer has he just let out a few yaps when he sees a bike, pram or wheelchair. We are assuming that due to his lack of socialisation, he is unsure of these things and would prefer to keep his distance. This should improve as his confidence builds.
Now that he has been with us for a while, Ziggy has become more relaxed and is getting used to being handled. Although, he will tolerate it, he is still not keen on being picked up and prefers to be on all 4 feet. He calms down again quickly once he is back on solid ground.
In his foster home, Ziggy is being taken for regular walks and outings and is slowly being exposed to different environments in preparation for his new family and their routine. He is getting used to the lead and enjoys his trips to the park. He is very good at making new canine friends. He has a great time playing and chasing the other dogs.
Due to him still being a little nervous, Ziggy will be best suited to a calm home with older children/grandchildren who understand that dogs need their space and time to adjust.
Ziggy has a very gentle, shy nature. He will be seeking a home where he will have a calm and friendly, desexed dog of similar size and breed to take guidance from and to share his days with. In Ziggy's best interest, he will only be suitable to a home where he will have a happy doggy companion to share his games with. He is only young and will be best matched with a young friend who will enjoy his company.
Homes where Ziggy will be an only dog will not be considered.
If you have read Ziggy's profile and fit the description of the perfect home for him, please send us an enquiry and we will be in touch.
We are expecting a lot of interest in this gorgeous young man so please be patient while we read through all applications.

Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
