About Murphy
Gorgeous Murphy is a 5 year old Kelpie mix who is on the lookout for his forever home.
Murphy is a fun, loving, energetic dog. He loves to play catch and also loves a good lie around in the sun. He is very loyal, responds to all commands, and will never run for a open door/gate etc. He loves human interaction and cuddles as he is really affectionate! Being a Kelpie, Murphy will need exercise daily.
Murphy would be happiest in an only dog home. He can be overwhelmed by other dogs and can snap at them in fear. He will need a confident human to help him overcome this and it is best that he isn’t taken to off lesh areas. He has slight anxiety which is being managed with meds. However with a quieter lifestyle and good exercise, can be slowly taken off them with the advice of a vet.
Murphy requires a home with a good sized backyard, relaxed atmosphere and lots of loving attention. Murphy must be allowed inside as he likes to be part of the family. He would also be better suited to older calmer kids as little kids frighten him.
Murphy is also very polite and toilet trained. He can go the entire night being inside with out needing to duck out.
Murphy is located in the Northern Beaches in Sydney.
