About Hazel
Hazel the heartbreaker đ
Stunning girl Hazel has found herself back at A Mini Rescue through absolutely no fault of her own and we are tasked with finding her purrfect furever home. A home where she will always remain safely inside, away from all the dangers a little kitty may face, a home that will maintain her health and nutrition needs, a home that will provide all the love she so beautifully asks for.
Hazel is just 10 months old, after having been born in care, and has grown to be a stunning grey and gold tortoiseshell with big amber eyes that seek out scratches and snacks. Itâs evident that she has already had a litter of little hazelnuts at such a young age. This has taken its toll on her development so she is tiny! Half the size expected of a kitty her age. Hazel is a forever kitten. A little furry, purry pocket rocket.
She has a medium length, silky soft coat that will need to be kept nice and tangle free - this benefits her comfort as well as her gorgeous good looks. She is up to date with her vaccinations and parasite treatments and her big-girl op is (finally) just days away.
She is good with other cats (if a bit of a drama queen) provided they have the correct introductions and blend of personalities. She is also rather good with the family staffy...though does have the occasional moment. A dog that understands when no-means-no should be a fine companion for Hazel if their friendship is initiated in the right way.
Hazelâs favourite things are pats, food and playing chasey with her long-lost foster brother âUncle Theoâ who helped raise her from kittenhood. She also loves a comfy place to nap and accept her tummy tickles, but will follow everyone around the house to be a part of whatever adventure awaits (particularly in the bathroom) when sheâs not getting her beauty rest. This diminutive little lady is quiet, affectionate and playful and has definitely been rediscovering her youth post teenage motherhood. She would be suited to almost any family, as long as they meet her needs and can love her as much - if not more - than she already is with the family who raised her.
Petite Hazel can be met in Petrie where a look and an ear scratch will see you both falling head over heels. Please get in touch with A Mini Rescue to arrange a date
