Shy July Cat of the Week - adopt ""Bojtun"" for FREE or by donation!

We've had tremendous success with our two recent scaredy cats. Both Libby and Kestrel found wonderful homes within days of being featured here - after months and months of waiting.
So can we take out the trifecta and find a home for wee little Bojtun?!

""Hi there, I'm Bojtun."" Funny name, I know, but you can call me whatever you like - as long as you call me yours!

Today is day number 96 of waiting for my new home so if someone could adopt me within the next 4 days before I get to triple digits, that would be pretty amazing.

I'm a teeny tiny little girl and I'm not going to grow much bigger so I'm here to be your perpetual kitten. :) I'm about 7 months old now and I am just SO SWEET.
My life started on the streets and the whole world was pretty big and scary. I ended up in the pound which was even scarier, but then things changed and I found myself in foster care.
The best thing about my foster home is the OTHER CATS! I LOVE love love the company of other felines - for snuggling, grooming, playing or just hanging out - so I'm super keen to find a home with another kitty (or two, or three...) to be my friend. 😻😻

Even though I've made lots of progress, I'm still super timid with people. I purr for my foster mum now and I'm fine for the occasional pat, but mostly I still keep my distance.
I haven't got a mean bone in my body so I won't lash out or hiss at you - I just hide!
I recently had to stay at the vets for a couple of days because my desexing wound got a little infected - the staff there tried to make me feel safe and they said I was such a good patient who tolerated medication and everything - I was just SO TERRIFIED. (I was super happy to come home to foster care. And my wound is all better now).

Like all the other shy kitties, what I need is a home with a family who don't have too many expectations. Someone who understands that it might be weeks or months before you even touch me at all. But, someone who will keep talking to me and trying to engage with me because I promise we WILL be friends in the end and I don't want you to completely ignore me!

I definitely won't take up much of your time, or space either! I'm kitty litter-trained and I'm not fussy about food. I love food, in fact! Especially roast chicken. That's the best way to my heart <3

Adopting a cat like me probably won't be very rewarding in the beginning but once we start hitting little milestones, you will get the most amazing warm and fuzzy feeling all over!
I have so much potential and just need a home of my own so I can shine.
